Your Partner in Vision Health
Routine eye exams are crucial for maintaining healthy eyes and clear vision. As we age, our risk of developing eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration increases. These conditions can significantly impact vision if not detected and managed early.
Many age-related health conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, can also affect eyesight. Routine eye exams allow us to catch any changes in your eye health.

Your Eye Exam Frequency
Regular eye exams are crucial for maintaining eye health and preventing vision problems. But how often should you schedule an eye exam? Like many things in healthcare, the answer is dependent on the individual.
As a general recommendation, the American Optometric Association (AOA) suggests that:
- Adults 20–54 years old undergo an eye exam every 2–3 years.
- Adults 55–64 years old undergo an eye exam every 1–2 years.
- Adults over 65 undergo an annual eye exam.
Based on your history, eye care needs, and risk factors, we can recommend a more personalized exam frequency.
Comprehensive Eye Testing
We’ve invested in diagnostic technology to help provide the comprehensive care you deserve. Our equipment allows us to conduct thorough examinations and detect potential eye problems early:
- Essilor visual field (VF) analyzer: This tool helps us assess your peripheral vision and identify potential signs of glaucoma or other vision issues.
- Anterior segment imaging: This tool provides detailed images of the front part of the eye, including the cornea, iris, and lens.
Diagnosing Your Eye Care Needs
Our exams cover all aspects of your eye health and include:
- Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring: These tests are crucial as they can indicate underlying health issues affecting your vision.
- Corneal curvature assessment: We measure the curvature of your cornea to detect any abnormalities that could impact your vision.
- Oxygen check: Ensuring your eyes receive adequate oxygen is essential for maintaining healthy vision.
- Reversal dilation eye drops: To make your experience more comfortable, we offer eye drops that reverse dilation, allowing you to return to your day more quickly.
